1. Tested p1665 code: Oven circuit in Evap system
2. Had it tested with nitro (smoke) machine found a leak in evap line and faulty gas cap and also found blown fuse(obd2 misc) on right side I believe is the IGN FUSE CENTER
3. Replaced gas cap and fixed leaky line with vacumn line, also replaced the evap purge solenoid going to evap cannister
4. Changed fuse with same 10a-blew fuse under acceleration
5. Replaced fuse with 25a-blew same
6. Replaced fuse with 30a-started smoking
7. Took out fuse replaced with 10a-started smoking
8. Took out fuse completely drives fine without fuse but still trips the same code. Cannot pass Illinois Emmision Testing with any codes activated. Is there a wire that is crossed or shorted somewhere. Or a different problem all together??
PLEASE HELP!!!
98 pont bonneville codes for evap system, keeps tripping obd 2 fuse misc on ign fuse center?
Your going to have to get a diagram and follow whats on that circuit in terms of accessories. By installing the higher amperage fuse, the wire then became the weak spot and by smoking you now may have bare wire/s somewhere. A diagram of the circuit is a good place to start. Electrical 101 is to start tracing wires.

You should never replace a fuse with another of a higher amperage rating.Doing so can create fire and other damage. It sounds like you have 2 problems, one electrical and one related to the evap system. If you want to fix this yourself you need to examine the wiring diagram for your vehicle and check the circuits which are connected to this fuse for short to ground.
