Installed after-market stereo, now parking lights keep shorting out and blowing fuse.?

I personally installed an after-market stereo in my 2004 Scion xB, it resulted in shorting out the parking lights and dash-board lights since there on the same fuse, after changing the fuse it still shorts out and blows it. I took the car to a car audio shop and they could not find the problem, SO does anybody have any ideas as to whats causing the short before I spend an arm and a leg for repairs?

Sounds like the illumination wire has been grounded. My book shows it to be a dark green wire located in the 10 pin original radio plug.

hard to tell, thats why if you don't know what you are doing with electrial on a car, let someone who knows do it...you have probably crossed wires somewhere
like koma said you probably crossed some wires.. pretty much your just royally 茠ucked lol.. i would tell you another way to hook it up but you might 茠uck it up again lol.. just take your scion to a mobile one
well you hooked something up wrong, either unhook everything read all the fine print or go to a professional.
