My car is a vauxhall corsa life, 2002 reg

look for the fuse panel , usually it's under the dash, find the blown fuse and replace

Either consult the car's handbook in which you will find a list of fuses and the services they protect.... OR.... find the car's fuse box and on top of, or inside the cover will be shown the same information. At a guess, the fuse will be around 20 AMP to cover the current drawn by the car lighter socket.



If all the above fails, remove each fuse (one at a time) until you find the blown component - but make sure you look for the reason should it blow a second time. After all, you don't want your vehicle to catch fire!
Think about that for a second. Fuses are made to blow so why would they put them where they are hard to get to? Look on the dash, some fuses are under the hood in a black box...
