I have a condenser dryer and yesterday it started tripping my fuse ox if i tried using it, which obviously tripped everything else that was using a plug socket. We have tried changing the fuse but it keeps doing it. I have an engineer coming out in a few days but was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what it could be and what i could do.

make sure the grounding wire is connected properly where the plug goes into the dryer, not the wall.

you have a short some were,
buy another 3 prong plug if your capable of doing it yourself.maybe you burnt the plug out.
