My alfa romeo wipers wont turn off without pulling the fuse out?
I hope I didn't read into your question but I understand you to say that the wipers are running continuously in the delay (intermittent) setting. Most problems of this sort can be sorted with a relay replacement. The contactors in the relay fizzle and fuse and so they don't shut off. But the very worst is you have a switch failure which means off to the shop and the relay is something you could do on your own. So give that a go first and see if just replacing the relay solves the issue. The relay is on the fuse panel or nearby. It is as easy as changing the fuse.

switch needs replacement.
Probably a bad switch or relay. I feel bad for you. Alfas are fun to drive but miserable to own.
yes have the wiring checked and the relay
Watch Christine the Stephen King movie. That should answer all of your problems.
An Alfa with an electrical problem? Mmmmmm.
I'm sure in the handbook there's a page saying, 'your Alfa will have numerous electrical problems but don't
worry, this is completely normal'.
They're a great car to drive, (most models) ooze character, great interiors, a car with soul but they are shocking when it comes to reliability especially electrical problems, the dealers get a rough ride too when it comes to reviews.
Try an independant auto electrician as it could just be a short on the cables or fusebox, if you bought it second hand there could have been someone playing with the electrics.
that's Italian for you! Always full of surprises
most likely it is the relay, if that doesn't fix it ( which it should), then your multi function switch is broke.
sound more like a relay problem.....can't be too sure....but a lot of alfas have had some relay probs...specially the old ones.....plus u did not mention which model your car is....it'll give you better answers if you do.....
It is in the switch. Do you activate the wipers from the steering column? That is where the problem is, Probably needs cleaning on the contacts(which means they have to pull off the steering wheel.)
It's probably the relay ( easy fix) or a bad earth. Take it to an auto electrician.
I've seen the weather forecast though, you might as well leave it till next week!!
Alfas are great cars, but the electrics do occasionally have opinions of their own!!
