many of times. i have tried using a lower fuse than a 25watt, it still blows out. now i cant charge my phone. whaT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

When a fuse blows it is because too much current is flowing. If a 25 amp fuse blows then going smaller won't help at all. Replace with the original size and check the charger (try a known good charger to see if your charger is the problem)

check your phone charger and any thing else that you use on the lighter. if lighter is mounted in sliding part of ashtray lok behind it to see if the wires are rubbing against metal if so tape the bare spots. with lighter fuse removed what else does not work dome light horn etc. replace fuse turn on each thing that is run by it and see what blows fuse repair that item it is your short
the problem is that you smoke. if you didn't smoke, you wouldn't have to pay for the broken cigarette lighter, you would be healthier, and you wouldn't waste about 1,700 dollars a year to smoke.
Could be your car charger. See if a friend can bring theirs next time they ride with you and see if it blows.
Go back to a 25 amp fuse,if that blows again try a 30 amp.If it blows the 30 amp fuse it means you have a dead short somewhere.
dont put a lower fuse...use the same one. a lower one will blow every time..
dont put a 30 amp either, inless you want a fire
you are using it too much. it is telling you to stop smoking. it is gross.
