I'd check the horn itself many times the plug in connection is rusted or corroded try using sandpaper or a wire brush or a file to clean it and you may need to replace the wire connector. One trick I use is a rapidly unplug and plug the connector in and hopefully that cleans the connector , also it could have a bad ground so disconnect the horn , unbolt it and clean the metal surfaces.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way there are lots of horns at the U pick auto wreckers or wrecking yards that you can buy quite cheap , I can't remember on that vehicle if it has a horn relay but check the fuse boxes just in case.

came unplugged, look under the passenger side for the horn, looks exactly like a old folk horn, see if the wire connector came off or is loose. if not maybe time to get a new one.
Horns are right behing grill facing down. They get rusty inside and become useless.I went to auto parts store and got a pair of %26quot;Fiam%26quot; horns around $20.Very loud! Sound like a big Buick coming down the road. They will get the attention of traffic idiots.Simple install,a few minutes tops.Original horn was lame at best anyway.Anythig 12V will work.Lots of possibilities.Beep,Beep!!
check the wiring connection, it could be loose or dirty. Hope this helps!
