I have a 2004 Kia Sedona, have only had it for two weeks (bought it used) and now the dashboard lights, and position lights (P,R,N,D) do not light up at night. Have tried changing the fuses at the fuse box inside the van but this has not done anything. Not sure what else to do?

In the engine compartment fuse box you have a diode the controls cluster and shifter light. replace that and will bring your lights back. known problem on Sedona's

I am not very familiar with the KIA vehicles, but does the headlight switch turn? Some vehicles have a dimmer on the switch to dim the dash lights. It may have been turned off accidentally when you maybe cleaned the interior.
The gauges itself are more than likely out. Kia's are known for having many complaints of little things like this especially electrical from owners. you more than likely need a new set of gauges if all fuses including the fuses in the fuse box under your hood are still intact.
