My fuse boxes in my car the writting has worn away or it is in Japanese and I am needing to change the fuse but cant locate it as I dont have the manual either if anyone can give me a gereral idea besides under the bonnet it would be appriceated

Under the hood!
go to a junkyard and see if they have a car like yours then check see if there fuse panel cover is legible
if you take the fuse into an advanced auto parts, napa, or auto zone they will help you find the part or an exact match equuivelent that will work
the cigarette lighter fuse will prob be a 15 amp fuse so start looking at the lower amprage fuses. if all else fails pull them all out and check them, of for a few bucks get a fuse tester from an auto parts store and check them that way. Also if you still have the owners manual it might have a fuse diagram in it.
