Which fuse is #6 in a taurus?

I have a 99 ford taurus and was told to change fuse no.6. Which one is 6? My pannel gives me names not numbers.
Which fuse is #6 in a taurus?
Hi Christie R ,

I'm sorry I didn't see your question yesterday when you posted it, but lucky for us that this new %26quot;suggested question%26quot; feature here at Yahoo!Answers pointed it out to me.

;-)

I hope this is the answer that you were looking for:

Fuse #6 (in the fuse box inside the car, not the power distribution box under the hood) is a 15A fuse. It should be a Blue colored fuse.

It should say : %26quot;TR Sensor, Reverse Lamps, DRL, A/C Controls%26quot;

The #6 position in the power distribution box is listed as %26quot;not used%26quot;

I found this information in your owners manual.

The chapter on fuses and relays (including diagrams %26amp; charts for all the fuses %26amp; relays) begins on page 125 in your owners manual.

Your complete owners manual ( 1999 Ford Taurus) can be downloaded by clicking here:

http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/co鈥?/a> It is in pdf format so it is easily saved to your computer or printed for future reference.

NOTE: If first link that I posted is not working correctly, please go to the other link, (below, in the source area) you will see %26quot;owner guides%26quot; in the column on the left. If you go there %26amp; plug in your 'year, make, %26amp; model'... you will be able to get the down-loadable-free-owner_manual for reference. You may need a compatible version of Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is also a free download from the same page at the Ford website. Look for the download information at the bottom of that page.
